Preserving generations of authentic Halwai traditions.
Our Story
Every Sweet Has a Place of Origin. Every Tradition Has a Story.
India’s sweetest memories often begin in its villages and small towns. They are found in the local sweet shop that families have trusted for years, in recipes carefully preserved across generations, and in the skilled hands of halwais who understand that great taste comes from patience, experience, and tradition.
This is the inspiration behind Seedhe Gaon Se.
We started with a simple thought: why should the specialities of a particular town remain known only to the people who live nearby? Every region has its own treasured flavours, distinctive techniques, and traditional delicacies. Some are associated with festivals, some with family occasions, and others with the everyday joy of enjoying something made with care.
We wanted to create a platform that could connect these local treasures with customers across a wider geography.
Our journey is about discovering the places where traditional sweets have a distinct identity, understanding what makes each speciality different, and bringing those flavours together under one brand. Instead of treating every sweet as just another product, we want to celebrate its regional character and the craftsmanship behind it.
The name Seedhe Gaon Se reflects this very idea. It represents a direct connection with the roots of traditional Indian food culture, the small towns, local markets, family-run sweet shops, and communities where these flavours have flourished.
We see ourselves as more than sellers of sweets. We aspire to be storytellers of regional taste, preserving the connection between a delicacy and the place that made it famous. With every new speciality we discover, we hope to introduce our customers to another part of India’s extraordinary culinary landscape.
As we grow, our purpose remains the same: to honour traditional flavours, help customers discover regional specialities, and make every sweet experience feel meaningful.
Our roots are local. Our inspiration is India. And our table is open to everyone.
